Yesterday marked the official launch of Taproot's lastest issue: BLOOM.

In it, you'll find my second contribution to the magazine, the Polka Dot Party Socks. these socks, written for both toe-up and top down knitters feature a fun speckled yarn from one of my favorite Maine dyers, OnTheRound. You can queue it up on Ravelry, but the pattern is only available in the magazine (for now) - but the full issue is well worth it if you're a fan of good food, flowers, and handmade living. You can pick up yarn kits for the project at the Taproot Market or make your own pairings direct from OnTheRound.

It doesn't get more fun than polka dots, right?

Sneak Peek

Here's a sneak peak of Moxie - my upcoming shawl design. I'm working up the sample in Juniper Moon Farm's Zooey, a wonderfully textured linen-wool blend, that will be perfect for those upcoming beach days.
