I am very grateful to be back at my workbench, this time playing with the jewel-like New Zealand paua shell. Being from New Zealand, I've seen a lot of jewellery made with these shells and the challenge for me was to come up with something completely different to the tourist shop offerings.
These are a few of what has emerged thus far - they remind me of the special experiences I've had in New Zealand's geo-thermal wonderlands. They are not in my store yet, but I will let you know when they are (if you have clicked "yes please"!).
AT THE EDGE OF THE STREAM
Capturing the animated way in which little bits of flotsam and bubbles play about in the eddies at the edges of streams.
