Commissioning another class of servant leaders at C-Life

C-Life 2018 commissioning class—2nd Cohort of servant leaders

Greetings C-Life family,
It has been close to five months since we last sent you an update, I want to personally apologize for the lack of communication.

There has been a lot of political instability and high insecurity in the country of Cameroon and even more so, especially in Buea, where C-Life does ministry. The conflict I informed you about has worsened, now on a regular basis I get messages from our staff saying,

"We heard gunshots go off all night, we thank God we are alive this morning"...."we had to shut down classes tonight because the military has issued a curfew and it is not safe for our students to be out of their homes in the evening".

All these things have taken us to our knees, asking for God's perfect will to be done and His peace and goodwill to reign again in Cameroon.
We really ask for your prayers, we know the prayers of the righteous avail much.

But despite all the instability, the ministry goes on. TEN brave young leaders despite all odds stayed with the program and they are being commissioned this Saturday.

We have to be very careful about advertising this event, because training young leaders with the current political unrest, can be seen as a threat to the government.

Notwithstanding, we have always known that every great nation is founded by servant leaders—Mk 10:42-45

"Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them...43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. "

So we stay faithful, no matter what is happening. We are encouraged by the verse that says;

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" Gal 6:9

Celebrate these leaders with us this Saturday, thank the Lord for their courage and pray that the Lord will use them for His glory in and through their respective professions or business ventures.
