SUMMER NEWS & UPDATES
Variety EXCLUSIVELY announced the casting for our latest series, DOT - a 50 episode anthology series that tackles women's rights across the USA. Written by Gary O. Bennett and directed by Alyssa Rallo Bennett, this pilot will feature Stonestreeter Danny Ramirez (Assassination Nation) and actress Vanessa Marano (Switched at Birth). Production starts later this summer.

Throwback to the Tisch Drama Awards in May - here are ALL the Stonestreeters that won awards for creative and academic excellence!
We were so excited to host two consecutive nights of Nasty Women Unite Fest- a four day arts festival founded by Stonestreet managing director, Allison Brzezinski. Her team of producers includes many from our Stonestreet family including studio manager and playwright Sohailla Mahjour and Stonestreeter Sara Chan. 
Amazing news! Stonestreeter Francesca Reale is moving to Hawkins, IN! Congrats on getting cast in Season 3 of Stranger Things, Francesca!
Director/Actor/Producer AND Stonestreeter Alana Barrett-Adkins did a master workshop with Stonestreet staff and recent alums this month at the Studio!
Good Deed Entertainment has funded Coyote Lake - a dark thriller about a motel-owning mother and her teen daughter, who use their business (located near the Mexican border) to discretely murder the drug runners and human traffickers who spend the night. The film is scheduled for a 2019 theatrical release and was co-written and directed by Stonestreeter Sara Seligman and stars Stonestreeter Camila Mendes. The film, Stretch Marks, starring Stonestreeter Nicole Balsam premiered on the 18th at the 2018 Soho International Film Festival. Congrats Nicole! 
Stonestreeter Camila Mendes was featured in W Magazine, chatting about navigating fame, body positivity, and why she's not slowing down anytime soon.
Congrats to Stanton Strong for hosting a wonderful event in support of Women’s Rights. Over two hundred and fifty people attended, raising a ton of funds and awareness. Bravo to all of the performers including Stonestreet’s co-founder and artistic director, Alyssa Rallo Bennett.
COMING SOON IN POST
Don’t blink! We’re in production for a new full length pilot, Leading Story. The cast and crew are flying through the high-stakes political drama. Here we see Caroline Turner as the no-compromises reporter ‘Plummy’ Lee. The pilot was inspired by our award winning short with the same title which premiered at NYC Web Fest last fall.
