FURNITURE FACT OF THE WEEK
The Badminton Chest, twice crowned the most expensive item of furniture in the world, was completed in 1732. The ebony cabinet is over 3.5 meters tall, and is inlaid with semi-precious stones. The Chest, which now resides in the Liechtenstein Museum, is worth over $48 million. The only downside - we don't have it at seven pages!
