Dear All,
In school this week, we have been celebrating the Royal Wedding. Kingfishers children performed a mock wedding, officiated by Reverend Paul; they also had the chance to see Mrs Kite's & Mrs Clark's wedding dresses. The older children learnt the art of sugar craft and made some roses for the celebratory cake which was cut during the special lunch on Thursday. Please click on the links and visit the website to see some amazing photos.
Next week, it is 'Walk to School week' - the usual meetings places are The Institute and the top of Strickmere. School staff will be there for 8.25am to set off walking for 8.30am. Wearing your favourite footwear to school day is Tuesday (no 'heelies' or crocs please).
Regarding the school trip to London, we are just waiting on a few replies, but hope to let you know how many spare tickets there will be this week.
Finally, a well done to our Year 6 children who have completed their SATs. You've all worked hard and you should be very proud of yourselves.
If you have any questions about anything happening in the school, please do not hesitate to speak to myself or one of the teachers.
