How the Beta-Tester Program Works
Kleinn is the world’s only manufacturer that engineers and builds a full line of Direct Fit train horn and onboard air systems. No cutting, drilling or welding is needed for installation, and we pride ourselves on our detailed, easy to follow instructions for a pain-free installation.
For Kleinn to be able to accomplish this, we need people like you to test fit our kits on your vehicles. As you may know, the same year vehicle can have different factory options that will affect fitment of aftermarket accessories. Once we engineer a kit and install it on a few test vehicles here in Tucson, Arizona we also want to test our kits on other vehicles before we release them to the public. The goal is to test fit as many different trim and body variations as possible.
How to Become a Kleinn Beta-Tester
Once we put out notice that we are looking for specific make/model/year vehicles, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up and let us know you are interested. When we are ready to release a kit for testing, we review the list of those that have signed up and choose who we will ask to participate.
Choices are based on two factors: we want the widest possible variety of vehicles, and we want to include participants with varying levels of installation experience (that’s one of the questions we’ll ask on the signup form).
This is not a free product program. This is a Pre-Release purchase program with significant cash rebates and in some cases special add-on gifts.
Our Direct Fit kits typically sell for between $800 and $1300, depending on the application and the horns included with the kit. You will need to purchase the kit (we pay the shipping!) but can then earn cash rebates based on a checklist of things we’ll ask you to do. The exact rebates will vary depending on the kit being tested, but typically will total around 40% of the purchase price if you complete the entire checklist. We will ask you to critique the installation instructions, take pictures, make a video, and post to your Facebook page and Vehicle Forums.
