In the two month Big Read period we checked out 458 paper copies of the book, 249 ebooks, and130 electronic audiobooks. Adding in copies that were given away, that means we had about 1000 people all reading the book at the same time. Thanks everyone for putting on so many enriching programs to go along with the book!

Thank you for a tremendously successful Big Read! Please forward any program and/or book discussion attendance numbers to me as soon as possible. My final report to the NEA is due on 6/30/18, and it is imperative to have it in timely for the final 10% of our funding to be sent to us. I will have statistics prepared for you all in the coming days.
When sending an email about attendance, please tell me the title of the program (or just write: “book discussion”), the number of people who attended (please tell me how many adults and how many youth (under 18) attended). Also give me the date and starting/ending times of your program and/or discussions.
You are welcome to keep the copies of the novels sent to you, or you may sell them in your book sales, donate them, or send them back to the system.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or phone.
Thank you all!
