The Beauty of Marriage

Inspired Answers about Relationships
by Adventist Review

After the excitement and stress of their weddings, couples are faced with the challenge of building and maintaining happy and fulfilling marriages. For some faith-based tips, we sought counsel from the writings of Ellen G. White.—Editors.

Tell us what you mean by the phrase “permanence in marriage.”

You have united in a lifelong covenant. Your education in married life has begun. The first year of married life is a year of experience, a year in which husband and wife learn each other’s different traits of character, as a child learns lessons in school.

Tell the World is an inspiring production about the Seventh-day Adventist Movement. This hollywood style film was launched globally on 22 October 2016.

Bellville Church was proud to be part of the global launch when it hosted the screening of the film the Sabbath afternoon of 22 October 2016. We have had church members coming from far and near to watch the movie. This date also served as the anniversary of the Great Disappointment, as a way of drawing attention not only to the film but more importantly, its message. As we know, it was on 22 October 1844 that many who were a part of the Advent Movement were greatly disappointed when Christ did not return as they had predicted.

Based on true events, Tell The World shares the compelling story of a small group of farmers from the northeast region of the United States. They set the foundation of an organization that has been at the forefront of issues such as health, education, communication and Biblical interpretation.

We encourage anyone who has not yet seen the film to view it as soon as they can, with the hope that the film will inspire us to do more research on the history of our church and to share it with our children, so that they will have a better understanding and even greater appreciation for our past as well as our future.

Official Trailer of the Tell The World Movie
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has always existed to reach every human being in the world. We believe that God really loves our world and has called us to reach the world for Him.

Our Mission is very clear. The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to call all people to become disciples of Jesus Christ, to proclaim the everlasting gospel embraced by the three angels’ messages (Revelation 14:6-12), and to prepare the world for Christ’s soon return.

The global strategy of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to reach the world by pursuing 21 objectives grouped into three drives:

REACH UP TO GOD  |  REACH IN WITH GOD  |  REACH OUT WITH GOD

Learn more about how the church plans to do this globally.
