Cover Reveal for my New Book!
|
|
Gods and Demons, book 1 in my new Dark Streets series, has been quite a hit, and I'd like to thank all my readers for giving it such a warm reception. I received the cover for Dragon's Egg, the sequel, this week and I love it. See the cover revealed below!
As for the book itself, I originally hoped to have it ready this month, but that's been delayed a bit. The story is about 3/4 written, and I've pushed the publication date out to June. The book will be available for pre-order on Amazon soon (look for my next newsletter for more information).
I've had a number of people ask me when my books will be available in audio. Audio production is an incredibly involved and expensive process, and while some authors make money at it, I also hear from authors who don't. Recently, however, I was contacted by an agent who offered to represent me for audio for the Dark Streets series. Hopefully, I'll have more information on that in the coming months.

When did I become everyone’s paranormal Miss Fixit?
When the Lords of the Icelandic Elves summon me to use my talents to find a lost Dragon's egg, I find it hard to say no. I've seen what a Dragon can do, and a young, just-hatched Dragon is a being of pure destruction.
But word of the egg gets out, and the race to find it begins. Mages from many realms are in the hunt—including a Dragon—and they don’t always play well together. Unless I want to join the casualties, I need to find that egg and return it to where it belongs. Luckily, I have help, but I wish that damned golden-haired, golden-winged Nephilim would keep his shirt on.

I've joined with a number of other Urban Fantasy authors to create a Facebook group, Urban Fantasy Rebel Readers. The group is a place for readers of the Urban Fantasy Rebels to hangout, discuss their favorite Urban Fantasy books, and have a great time. The UF Rebel authors are: Holly Evans. Aimee Easterling, Becca Andre, BR Kingsolver, Clara Coulson, Craig Andrews, Dale Ivan Smith, Izzy Shows, Kat Cotton, KV Adair, NR Hairston, Rachel Medhurst, Sara Roethle, and Tori Centanni.
All of these people write fantastic books, and this is the place to find out about their new books and maybe discover some talented writers if you haven't tried them before. Join our group today!

One of the authors in the Urban Fantasy Rebels group released a new book on May 17, and I am glad to introduce Chaos Conspiracy by Holly Evans to you. This is a great read while you're waiting for my new book.

Wren Kincaid, blood witch.
It’s a shame I can’t put that on my résumé. Mercenaries with magic or supernal blood have a much easier time landing jobs. Unfortunately, if anyone finds out about my blood magic, I’ll be executed in twelve hours or less. Blood witches were eradicated a century before I was born, deemed too dangerous, or so everyone thought.
My life wasn’t too bad. I had to wrangle more drunk pixies than I’d have liked, and it was far from luxurious. I struggled to pay my rent, but I wasn’t complaining. Not too loudly, anyway.
Cue the Council and Dante Caspari. The Council are the people who will execute me if they find out what I am. Dante Caspari is the sexy-as-sin guy they hired me to work with so I can find out what happened to the missing supernals in Bucharest.
It sounds great working with a sexy guy, right? The problem is, his father’s a demon prince and his mother’s one of the most powerful witches in the Americas. If anyone is going to trip me up and hand me over to the Council, it’s him. So, I have to find the missing supernals, save the day, and try not to get killed doing it. Funny, those drunk pixies I was complaining about don’t seem so bad now.
Set in the same world as the popular Forged in Blood series
