Sports Day
On the last day of term, the children (and parents!) will take part in our sports day. This year we will arrange all of the events on the big football pitch. There will be lots of exciting events including the egg and spoon, sprint and many more. The sports day will run over the course of the morning beginning at 9am and run until around 11:30am. When the event finishes the children are free to go home to enjoy their summer holidays. The parent races are fantastic fun and of course completely voluntary but we thought we would inform you now so you have time to train 😀.
Each of the children will represent their house team on the day. All of the children when they join the school are placed into a team either Green, Yellow, Red or Blue. During the terms, the children collect house points and the team with the most points is awarded the Academic trophy at the sports day. The team with the most points from the sports day events is awarded the Sports Award.
Each of those teams is represented by an international sport star from Thailand -
Green - Bhanudej (racing driver)
Yellow - Kingpetch (flyweight boxer)
Red - Galaxy (Muay Thai)
Blue - Polsak (weightlifter)
On the day of the event the children and parents are invited to wear their team colours. The children will take part in a parade whilst wearing their colours. Some parents enjoy wearing the colours and last year we even had parents with pom poms and other decorations for the event. Please feel welcome to join and participate in this event that is always a special way to end the year.
Assembly
Last week the assembly was led by the Early Years Class. The children were presented information about the use of games before bedtime and also information about bedtimes and how much children of different ages need.

Don’t forget that each week the children need their PE kits and swimming kits on the timetabled day. A hat and water bottle should be brought each day and if you are sending in snacks, healthy snacks only please.

กีฬาสี
เราจะจัดงานกีฬาสีขึ้นในวันสุดท้ายของภาคเรียนที่ 3 นี้ โดยมีนักเรียนทุกคนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมนี้ และเราขอเรียนเชิญผู้ปกครองท่านที่สนใจเข้าร่วมแข่งขันกีฬาสีกับเราด้วยเช่นกัน ปีนี้เราจะจัดงานกีฬาสีที่สนามฟุตบอลใหญ่ภายในโรงเรียนภัทราวดี ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยกีฬาและเกมหลากหลายชนิด โดยวันงานจะเริ่มตั้งแต่เวลา 09.00 น. ถึงเวลาประมาณ 11.30 น. โดยหลังจากงานกีฬาสีเสร็จสิ้นลง ผู้ปกครองสามารถรับนักเรียนกลับบ้านได้ทันที
นักเรียนแต่ละคนจะมีสีและทีมของตนเองตั้งแต่เริ่มเข้าเรียน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น สีเขียว สีเหลือง สีแดง หรือสีฟ้า ซึ่งตลอดเทอมแต่ละสีจะมีคะแนนสะสมเก็บไว้ เพื่อใช้ในวันกีฬาสีและหากทีมใดมีคะแนนสูงสุดจะเป็นผู้ชนะและได้รับถ้วยรางวัล
แต่ละสีจะมีชื่อเป็นนักกีฬาของไทย ดังนี้
สีเขียว - ภานุเดช (นักแข่งรถ)
สีเหลือง - กิ่งเพชร (นักมวย)
สีแดง - แกแลคซี่ (นักมวย)
สีฟ้า - พลศักดิ์ (นักยกน้ำหนัก)
ในวันงานกีฬาสีขอให้นักเรียนและผู้ปกครองทุกท่านใส่เสื้อผ้าตามสีของทีมตนเองเพื่อร่วมขบวนพาเหรดกับเรา เมื่อปีที่แล้วเรามีผู้ปกครองช่วยเติมสีสันวันงานของเราด้วยการแต่งชุดปอม ปอม เชียร์ ซึ่งช่วยทำให้บรรยากาศในงานเป็นไปอย่างสนุกสนาน เราหวังว่าปีนี้จะมีความสนุกสนานเช่นนี้เกิดขึ้นอีกครั้ง
กิจกรรมชุมนุม
สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา เป็นการนำกิจกรรมของชั้น Early Year เด็ก ๆ ได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับเวลาในการนอน ควรนอนพักผ่อนให้เพียงพอและอุปกรณ์ใดที่ไม่ควรใช้ก่อนนอน
