ANNOUNCEMENTS
CATHOLIC EDUCATION HONOR ROLL
Bishop Gorman is being recognized by the Cardinal Newman Society as a member of the 2018-2023 Catholic Education Honor Roll. The Honor Roll criteria conform (since 2017) to the Principles of Catholic Identity in Education, which The Cardinal Newman Society has derived from Church teaching and guidance on elementary and secondary education. The five principals are: Inspired by Divine Mission; Models Christian Communion; Encounters Christ in Prayer, Scripture, and Sacrament;Integrally Forms the Human Person; and Imparts a Christian Understanding of the World.

ALUMNI CONGRATULATIONS
- Congratulations to Noel Gamez ('13) who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a BS in Science and Engineering.
- Joanna Bartley('16) qualified for the Dean's List at Hendrix College (Conway, AR) for the Spring '17, Fall '17, and Spring '18 semesters.
BAND CONGRATULATIONS
On Thursday, May 17th the Bishop Gorman Middle School Crusader Band competed at The SoundPost Music Festival in Canton. The Band earned 1st Division (Superior) rating from in Concert Competition. Congratulation to all of the Middle School Band students for their outstanding performance and all of the work they put in getting ready for this performance. Many thanks to the parents and staff for their help in going to Contest.
TUITION CONTRACTS/ MACBOOKS
Tuition contracts have been sent out. Please return signed contracts by June 15th so that a macbook can be ordered for your high school student. Contracts received late may have a delay on ordering of a macbook due to the time necessary to setup the computers for each student.
FINAL WEEK FOR SUMMER BRIDGE REGISTRATION.
Class to help students complete Summer Reading assignments, practice Math skills, improve College Writing skills, prepare AP Literature students for AP Poetry reading and interpretation, learn basic Woodshop skills, and go Fishing while camping at Beavers Bend are available. Come by the front office to register. REGISTRATION ENDS THIS FRIDAY MAY 25TH.

Any money that is left on your child's account will be carried over to the their account for next year.
SENIORS: Any money left on their account will be given to them unless they have younger siblings then it will be put on their account. All negative accounts need to be taken care of by May 24th.
BAND NEWS
The Green Acres Middle School Band Camp will be on July 16-20 from 8:00 - 5:00 each day. If your child loves playing their instrument, they will LOVE Band Camp. Here is a link to more information and how to sign-up: http://www.gabcmusiccamps.org/
YEARBOOK INFO
- Please order your 2017-2018 Yearbook. Cost is $65.00. This is a signature hard cover series with high gloss pages. All orders will be done online, using the link below. Deadline to order is June 15, 2018. Production begins once the order deadline is closed. The 2015-2016 yearbook has had some production glitches but is currently in process.
- The yearbook class is seeking middle school baseball pictures from any of their games. Please send any you would like to share to mdavis@bishopgorman.net
