Dinacon - the alternative conference
Saad Chinoy represented GIG at the 2 months long Digital Naturalism Conference in Thailand this month. Many participants blogged about the event, here is one of them.

Careables is an open and inclusive approach to healthcare for citizens based on digital fabrication, distributed manufacturing and collaborative making. GIG is one of the project partners.

Ghana's maker movement
What started out as a community of makers, innovators and entrepreneurs has quickly grown into the biggest Maker Movement in Ghana. Heading this movement is Kumasi Hive.

The Dakar Policy Hackathon brought together more than sixty key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Impact Dakar with the goal of developing a Start-Up Act. Read the event report (French).
