Selected 8: New artists' film from the UK
Selected 8 shows at Whitechapel Gallery next, on 24 May, which includes a guest panel of artists in conversation with Jarman Award shortlisted artist, Adham Faramawy following the screening. Adham will be joined by artists Jala Wahid, Gery Georgieva and Hannah Quinlan & Rosie Hastings, who will be talking about their films in the programme.
On 30 May, we'll be at Duddell's in Hong Kong showing Selected 8, which will be followed by a post-screening chat between curators, Isaac Leung (Chair of Videotage) and Moritz Cheung (Curator of videoclub).
About Selected
Selected is a new collection of diverse artists’ film and video touring the UK in April-July 2018, taking place at some of the UK’s leading venues for showcasing artists’ film and video.
Nominated by the artists shortlisted for the Film London Jarman Award 2017, Selected brings together some of the best work from early career film and video artists from the UK in a vibrant programme of recent artists’ moving image.
