The Barista Update is here! News on what's next for Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! including console releases.

The Barista Update is now live on Steam, GOG.com and Humble Stores!

The biggest update we've ever made for CSD 2 is now live and 100% free! Enjoy 24 new foods, 36 new shifts, the all new Zen Shifts mode for all 400 levels, 100+ new unlockables and tons more.

What's Next for CSD 2?

Now that I have the Barista Update completed, my plans are to move straight into PS4 development. There are still some bugs and features I want to address before releasing on PS4 and Windows/Mac/Linux owners will be getting those patches as I progress in development (starting with a new v2.1 in July). I'm aiming to get the PS4 version in certification by September (from there it'll take a few weeks to go through the submission process).

Once I have a final PS4 release date I'll be looking at other potential consoles and platforms to launch on! The great thing is that GM Studio 2, the engine we use to power the game, makes it incredibly simple to port to systems.

The main issue is that I've never gone through console certification before, and I've heard stories that range from "not too bad" to "the worst ever" so I have no idea what to expect. But I'll be sure to update y'all as I go through the process. Should definitely be an interesting ride to say the least!

Games We Think Are Cool

E3 is over and the best trailer ever has to go to Tetris Effect, holy cow that game looks amazing and I can't wait for the PSVR version! IT LOOKS SO GOOD!

I hadn't played Hollow Knight until the Switch release this past week and it's such a beautiful, interesting game. I'm really enjoying it so far, its right up there with Steamworld Dig 2.

Whenever I want to unwind a bit I play Gran Turismo Sport. I actually don't like racing online but the single player stuff is oddly relaxing when you're going for the golds. Also the trailer for this game is so good!
