Therapeutic Innovation in Inherited Cardiac Conditions Symposium 2018
8th June 2018, London

This one-day conference, jointly hosted by the UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science, UCL Personalised Medicine Domain, Queen Mary University of London and Barts Health NHS Trust, will showcase research in rare and inherited cardiovascular disease. Talks are planned on a diverse range of themes including Therapeutic Innovation in Cardiomyopathies, Risk Prediction, Sudden Cardiac Death and Cardiac Inflammation & Infiltration.

The symposium promises to be a fascinating day with a mixture of insightful talks and time to network with your peers and colleagues.

Adult Cardiovascular Pathology Course
14th-15th June 2018, London

This course approaches the practical problems that face the diagnostic pathologist when dealing with cardiovascular pathology, which is the most common cause of death in the western world today.

The approach to a cardiac autopsy, cardiac anatomy and cardiac dissection will be emphasized. Topics covered include: sudden cardiac death, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, inherited cardiac disease, myocarditis and post-operative deaths.
