India set to attain significant rise in international visitor arrivals from South Asia over the next five years


 
India is set to welcome increased international visitor arrivals over the next five years with an average annual growth rate of 14.5 percent from South Asia between 2018 and 2022. Bangladesh is anticipated to top the chart (with a 17 percent increase) of IVAs to India followed by Afghanistan which is forecast to transcend Sri Lanka in the growth table with an average annual increase of 14.8 percent over the same period. Nepal closely follows, expecting a rise of 11.5 percent annually.

Eco-diving certification programme Green Fins comes to the Caribbean
 

Taking the lead are locally based Reef Check Dominican Republic, a local organisation aiming to protect coral reefs and their associated species, who will be using Green Fins to address the increase in tourist numbers that are engaging with the marine environment and the associated threats that come with this.
