I am writing to ask you to make a donation to help us to continue our work for tenants and residents.
Your support will help the Tenants' Union to continue our work for the over 2 million renters in New South Wales – tenants, boarders, lodgers, and other residents – including over 35,000 land lease community residents in NSW.
As a result of our strategic litigation compensation payouts have been made to home owners of a Hastings Point land lease community for the loss of their homes
This year we are excited to be embarking on two new important projects that will make a difference in key areas:
Developing an Aboriginal renting policy in collaboration with the TU's Aboriginal Advisory Committee and Aboriginal Tenants' Advice and Advocacy Services
Engaging affected tenants in developing and implementing best practice in the transfer of management of public housing tenancies to community housing
We're asking you to make a donation to help us to continue our valuable work for tenants and residents. You can make a donation at: givenow.com.au/tenantsunionofnsw
GiveNow is a user-friendly, non-profit, secure, Australian donations portal. As the end of financial year approaches, it's also good to know that all donations of $2 and over are tax-deductible.
Become a TU Ambassador
You may like to take your support a step further and become a Tenants' Union Ambassador by committing to donate $50 or more per year. You can set up a regular donation through Givenow.
As a Tenants' Union Ambassador you will receive our regular email bulletin on all things tenancy, be acknowledged in our annual report, receive advance notification of Tenants' Union events, and know you are making a difference.
