the DRive Initiative...

Our #EngageDR students are helping DRive success by innovating pathways to hope for single moms -- offering free childcare on Saturday mornings at the church in their neighborhood. One single mom tearfully responds: "No one has ever offered to be of help to me before." Moms may take a class to continue their education, do needed errands or take a shift at work. This is a pre-launch to our Community Care plan for upcoming term -- meet Pastor Anthony and hear the Bello's vision in the video (found further below).

the DRive Initiative...

Our next four years in the DR are all about this initiative to
DRive student success in the Dominican Republic by innovating pathways to hope and transformation for at-risk youth, vitalizing communities through partnerships with public schools, and empowering 10,000 students to be the catalyst for change.

We plan to coach 50 church leadership teams to become outward focused,
and strategically invest in 12 communities by helping the local church
develop a long term community care plan.

Tangible outcomes:
After school programs in 12 communities (reaching 600 youth)
Crisis pregnancy resources provided to 500 teen girls
Single moms assisted with childcare (120 families)
Adopt 12 public schools to serve & assist
10,000 students empowered to
recognize signs of abuse & human trafficking,
commit to sexual integrity & much more

University Small Groups

Our Uconexion student leaders & Engage students continue to lead students to faith in Christ. We launched on a new campus in the interior of the country in February.
There are still another 40 or so campuses to get to! Pray with us.
