First light for SPIRou !
An important milestone was recently reached for SPIRou, the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope’s new planet-hunting spectropolarimeter. On April 24th, the SPIRou performed its very first observation, collecting—for the first time—a spectrum from a star.
