In February this year NCFH collaborated with Ag Health and Safety Alliance (AHSA – another non for profit organisation)  to deliver the “Gear up for Ag Health & Safety” program at Emmanuel College in Warrnambool, RIST in Hamilton and Longerenong College in Horsham.

“Gear up for Ag Health & Safety” is an educational program focusing on the next generation by interacting with Ag students at schools, colleges and universities. The program views students as the future decision makers in agriculture that will influence how farming families, businesses, ag industry and its workers will progress into the future. The clear message delivered to students in the program is “Sustainable farming must now include an environment that connects health, wellbeing and safety as an integral part of everyday culture”. The program was a great success and we look forward to delivering more programs.
