Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing post-2020 (EESSH2)
TIS Free Consultation

In March 2017, the EESSH Review Group was established to consider future energy efficiency milestones. This Group informed proposals for activity post 2020, including setting future EESSH targets, contained within the Consultation on the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing post-2020 (EESSH2).
The consultation plays a crucial part in the Energy Efficient Scotland programme, and its vision to make our homes and buildings warmer, greener and more efficient. The consultation closes on 27th July 2018, and is available online by clicking here.
The Tenants Information Service (TIS) will be holding a free consultation event on Tuesday 17th July 2018, Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, EH8 8BG. To book a place at the event contact Jill Miller on 0141 248 1242 or email by clicking here.

Visit to Housing Locality Offices
Have you always wanted to find out more about the work of the Council? If so then this could be your chance.
The City of Edinburgh Council has arranged for tenants to visit area offices in each of the localities. The main aims of the visits are for tenants to:
  • Get to know the work of the housing staff as a result of the move to the four localities;
  • Discuss ways to improve the services that Council tenants receive;
  • Possible local initiatives to encourage tenants views on services in every local patch.
The dates, times and venues are as follows:
  • North West Locality, Monday 18th June 2018, 1.00pm-4.00pm, Drumbrae Hub, 81 Drumbrae Drive,
  • North West Locality, Thursday 21st June 2018, time to be confirmed, 8 West Pilton Gardens
  • South West Locality, Monday 25th June 2018, 9.00am-12.00pm, 10 Westside Plaza.
The dates and times for visiting the offices in the other localities will be included in the July edition of the e-newsletter.
