Leisure Reading for Nurses is a LibGuide with recommendations for fiction and nonfiction books for students and staff interested in nursing. It is the true story of how miscommunication and cultural misunderstandings impacted the medical care of a young epileptic girl.

Kira Johnson has been with CPTC for a year. She works in Admissions at the Alma Site, and is the Alma Learning Resource Center Assistant for Library Services. Her hobbies include going to the beach, hunting, and spending time with her family. She says she is not that much of a reader and does not have a favorite author, but the last book she read was To Kill a Mockingbird.
