The Home Baking Association annually recognizes outstanding baking educators that conduct innovative programs that teach kids to bake. We are pleased to announce the 2018 award selection and also share some of the baking lessons that have been created from previous award winners.  You will find great ideas for including baking in summer camps and community programs!  We’ve also listed locations for upcoming HBA workshops and events.

Cheryl and Louann are receiving the 2018 Home Baking Association Educator Award! These Pennbrook Middle School teachers were selected for their entry The Pennbook Baking Club! They will receive $1,000 and a trip to the HBA Annual Meeting at the Resort at Squaw Creek, Olympic Valley, California!

Cheryl and Louann say “The Pennbrook Baking Club is an after school club for middle school students.  Its purpose is for students to practice baking skills, raise money and have fun!”  The Home Baking Association will be excited to share this award winning lesson later this year! Entry deadline for 2019 is March 31!
