 Crow Wing County Master Gardener Class - Tuesday, July 10 @ 12 noon - The Moon Garden with Jennifer Knutson** - The nighttime world awaits you with beauty and fragrance in a moon garden. As the light fades, our gardens can become a magical place for us to unwind and relax. Family Book Club

Wednesday, July 18 @ 4pm - July's selection is How To Eat Fried Worms. Join us to discuss this book, ideal for kids ages 8-12. Copies of the book are available at the front desk. No sign up needed.
Brainerd Adult Book Club - Wednesday, July 11 @ 1pm - We'll be discussing The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown. Three sisters have returned to their childhood home, reuniting the eccentric Andreas family. Faced with the parents' frailty and their own personal disappointments, they struggle to communicate and solve what ails them. Read more about the book here. Stop in to the library to pick up a copy.

Books Burgers & Brews book club will meet on Monday, July 16, 2018, at 6pm at Prairie Bay Grill for our next book discussion of The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan and enjoy a custom food and drink menu created just for us! Computer Classes

If you are new to computers, haven't used them for a while, are a little unsure and uncomfortable, or just need a bit of a refresher, we have the tools to help you tackle technology at your own pace and gain the confidence you need to succeed. All classes taught using computers equipped with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2013 unless otherwise noted. Class size limited to 10 students.

Intermediate iPads - Learn more tips and tricks for using your iPad's features to the fullest. Bring your suggestions for favorite apps, too! Basic button and touchscreen navigation ability required. iPads are provided. Register here.

Saving Digital Stuff part 2: Files, Scanning, and Organization - Once we’ve decided which digital storage options we want to use, we still need to know how to save, how to scan items, and how to organize all the pieces. Basic familiarity with computers required. Register here.

Facebook for Grown-ups
 - Learn what Facebook is good for, and how to sign up. Learn how to post, comment, and protect your privacy. Students must come to class with a Facebook login or valid personal email address. Register here.

This year's Summer Reading Program, Reading Takes You Everywhere, continues through July 27. Readers from babies to teens can sign up to earn great prizes by keeping track of their reading activities. In addition, there are these terrific programs:

Wine and Words authors
Wine and Words 2018 will be Central Minnesota's literary event of the summer--don't miss it! Details and tickets are available at the Friends of the Brainerd Library website: wineandwordsandfriends.com.
