 Congratulations to Julian's 8th Graders! The graduation ceremony will be held in the main auditorium at Oak Park-River Forest High School on Thursday, May 31 at 5 pm. The auditorium which is wheelchair accessible, will open to guests at 4:30 pm. Graduates, please arrive by 4:30 pm wearing caps and gowns; enter through door #5 (North of main entrance on Scoville. This year, live stream viewing is available for family and friends and will begin promptly at 5 pm. For more information, click here.
 Yearbooks for Sale During all Lunch Periods on Wednesday, May 30. Please bring $30-cash only. Yearbooks will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Thanks goes to this year's Yearbook Committee along with Mrs. Guarino and Mr. Apostol!
 Time to Return Uniforms! If you are not a state runner this year, please return all uniforms and warm ups to Coach Taylor's room, B304, as soon as possible. We need these uniforms for next year's team!
 Attention 7th Grade Parents: There is Still Time to Register for the Washington DC Trip! Register before July 22, 2018, to avoid late fees and additional travel costs. Trip Information:

 The Book Drive Benefitting the Oak Park Children's Clinic is Ending This Wednesday, May 30. In every wing of the school, you will find a box in which you may place the books you want to donate. Advisories will receive points based on how many books they donate which will count towards Advisory Olympics. For more information contact Ms. Hill.
As You Travel This Summer, Keep Your Travel Sized Toiletries for Housing Forward. Save unopened soaps, shampoos, conditioners and other travel items to be donated in the 2018/19 school year. Questions can be directed to Ms. Saunders. Thank you for your support!
 Keep Collecting Box Tops This Summer! They help support our students, teachers and staff at Julian and can be dropped off in the main office in the fall.

Community Information
Code Play Learn is excited to bring BACK-TO-SCHOOL MATH CAMPS for 6th-12th graders. Dynamic classes lead by Paul Wright, instructor with over 18 yrs of teaching experience. He has a Master Degree in Gifted Ed w/focus in Math. He currently is a local high school math teacher. Details and Registration here.
BASE Camp Still Has Openings! All camps for grades 5-8 take place at Julian, and several camps like Spoken Word, Humans of Oak Park, and Builder Workshop are taught by Julian teachers. All of this makes it a great way for incoming and current students to become more familiar with the school. Registration information here.

The Learning League is Offering 1:1 Sessions from June 4-August 16. Summer programs are uniquely suited to fit your child’s individual needs.
