FINAL APPLE HARVEST

Wednesday 30th May, 9.30 am

Join us for The Growing Abundance Project’s final Harvest for the season.

We will be picking glorious Pink Lady Apples and everyone is welcome! Rug up and enjoy the crisp Autumn air and (possible) sunshine in an established orchard.

Take home some apples for yourself and be part of ensuring others in your community have access to this great local produce too.

How to join a Harvest
Meet us at the Maxi IGA Car Park near Victory Park. Just look for the Growing Abundance sign. We'll be near the BBQ area on the Victory Park side of the Car Park.
The Harvest Team Leaders will meet you there, give you more details about the Harvest and coordinate car pooling.

If you have boxes, secateurs or any other fruit harvesting gear feel free to bring it along.

Interested in becoming a Harvest Team Leader
next Season?

Becoming a Harvest Team Leader means helping get a Harvest happening on the day – collecting the gear, supporting other volunteers and seeing everything sorted and dispatched to our community recipients.

All relevant support and training, including First Aid training, is provided. You’ll also have the opportunity to take home amazing produce, learn new skills and gain a greater understanding of our local food system and how to care for it.
