SHUSTER NOMINATIONS!

The JOE SHUSTER AWARD NOMINATIONS were announced yesterday and we're excited to share that RAMÓN PÉREZ has been nominated for BEST ARTIST (on JANE, NOVA 1-5, 7, and GENERATIONS: MILES MORALES / SPIDER-MAN, PETER PARKER / SPIDER-MAN 1) along with RAID alum CHIP ZDARSKY for BEST WRITER (on DR. STRANGE 1. MU, PETER PARKER THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN 1-5, and STAR-LORD 1-6.)

We are also thrilled that RAID.ONE, our premiere anthology, has been nominated for the GENE DAY AWARD category for self-publishers / anthology format. We're honoured to stand in such good company and would like to share a heartfelt congratulations to all the Joe Shuster nominees!

WHO'S WHO IN RAID TWO
With RAID.ONE being nominated for an award we're even more excited to talk about RAID.TWO, the rough cover sketch of which we shared last week. Familiar faces will be returning in our second volume of tales. Irma Kniivila and Tri Vuong will be debuting their new collaborative effort, Eric Vedder shall be revisiting his world building empire,  Ramón Pérez shall dabble in the doubts of romance, and Kyle J Smith and Gabe Sapienza will be taking you down some new horrific path, to mention but a few.

On top of this though we're excited to announce that Willow Dawson will be sharing one of her dark fairy tales with us, Kalman Andrasofszky along with Mike Valiquette, and the super-talented Rachel Matile will be thrilling us with some dark superhero fare, plus to top it all off, Cameron Stewart will be launching his new creator-owned comic right here with us! DAMN WE'RE EXCITED!

Over the coming weeks and months we'll be giving you an in-depth first look into all the creators and their stories leading up to RAID.TWO’s release.

MARVEL QUICKDRAW!
A couple of months ago the Marvel Quickdraw team swung by RAID to film a handful of short segments featuring our colourful cast of creatives. We shared Irma Kniivila's featurette about a month ago, while the video featuring Ramón Pérez just went up last week (click on the image above to view), but somehow we missed a few in the interim! WE CLEARLY SUCK. If you haven’t come across them yet during your own online rabbit hole expeditions, we’re happy to share them with you below. Click the images below to view the featurettes. From left to right, Marcus To, Scott Hepburn, followed by Ian Herring, and (we thought we'd share again) Irma Kniivila.
