MFCA Summer Kick-Off

The MFCA program ramped up on Monday, May 21 with the Seminar for Pastoral Formation at Camp Geneva in Holland, MI. The seminar was again facilitated by Dr. Verlyn Hemmen, a CPE Supervisor from Minneapolis – St. Paul. The seminar, which started as a twelve-week online course in early March, serves as an alternative to a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), a requirement of the MFCA version of the Certificate of Fitness for Ministry (CFM). Ten candidates participated in the seminar.
