Rep. Karen Handel's (R-Ga.) communications director is bound for a trade group that last year dropped a mind-boggling $54.5 million on federal lobbying.
Wes Shaw is now the National Association of Realtors' media relations representative for advocacy issues. He joined Handel's staff last October and previously spent five years with Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.).
NAR performs the vast majority of its lobbying work through its in-house team, which lobbies on everything from immigration to disaster relief.
