MY TELEHEALTH: STORY COMING SOON!
“As the Medical Director for Pediatric Telehealth at GHS, I most enjoy assisting physicians and other healthcare providers who see a need to provide a virtual platform for patients in order to provide better access or better quality of care or both. A few examples of those successes at our institution include our Delivery Buddy program for Neonatal Resuscitation, our Pediatric ICU Transport Telehealth Program, and our Pediatric GI program for patients with Eosinophilic Esophagitis. The commonality of these three programs is that they take pediatric subspecialty expertise typically found only in Children’s Hospitals and extend the reach of those specialists far into our communities so that all of the patients in our referral base are able to benefit at the times of their highest need.”
