Upcoming Webinar: Setting Up for Long-Term Success – Learning From Georgia's P-20 Collaboratives and the Ohio Deans Compact

Continual systemic improvement requires structures that enable sustaining and scaling up innovation. Learn about different approaches that stakeholders in Georgia and Ohio have taken to meet the needs of educators and students in their states.

Presenters will share information on the inner workings of the P-20 Collaboratives in Georgia and the Ohio Deans Compact. Specifically, presenters will:

  • Provide a brief overview of the need for and genesis of the P-20 Collaboratives and Ohio Deans Compact
  • Share goals and function of the structures
  • Provide insight into how the P-20 Collaboratives and Ohio Deans Compact have been institutionalized
  • Share lessons learned and suggestions for others considering establishing statewide/systemic structures to support educator development

June 19, 1-2pm Eastern: Strategies to Support Evidence Use in Education


Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest is hosting this webinar, which will highlight strategies that researchers can use to support evidence use by state and local education agency staff. Speakers from REL Midwest, the University of California San Diego, the University of Rochester, and the Ohio Department of Education will discuss barriers that may prevent education practitioners from using evidence-based practices (EBPs) and share actionable strategies that researchers and other stakeholders can use to increase evidence use.
