Perspective - Volunteer to Your Purpose, Passion and Potential
We can each do something to make the world a better place. Let’s do it by volunteering to our purpose, passion and potential. Our purpose is a reflection of who we are. It is an outward expression of values, beliefs and strengths. Our passions are those topics that make us angry or cry (or laugh); anything from poverty to addictions to politics to personal fitness to “saving the whales”. There are thousands of possibilities, but you know it when you can’t stop yourself from doing it. Potential includes an element of time and use of talents. Let’s use our life and work experiences and continue to personally grow. Volunteering goes by many names including service learning, ministry and civic engagement. It is the selfless giving of our time and talents. Get started by exploring this web page.
