Good Afternoon!

Just a few short weeks ago, we discussed Mother's Day and the positive and negative experiences that come with it. Now, it's time to discuss the upcoming day celebrating the other parent: Dad! While many are preparing big celebrations or trips with family, others may be figuring out ways to distract themselves if a relationship with Dad is lacking or non-existent.

If you're someone who's dreading Father's Day, there are a few things you're probably asking yourself. Will avoiding this day help me make it through, and if so, how should I do it? Should I try to move on or just take a chance and speak to Dad or someone about my painful feelings about this holiday?

If you have a less-than-ideal relationship with Dad and are dreading this day, there are some steps you can take to help you make it through Father's Day and possibly fix your strained relationship with him.

This week's blog post, 'Father's Day: Getting Through It or Making the Most of It', can help you identify your feelings surrounding this day and how to deal with them.

All my best...
