Thank you for signing up for one of our first two band and colorguard enrollment days. We were just informed that the SMHS campus will be completely closed on Saturday, June 16th. The solar panel parking lot project is coming to SMHS and the installers will be moving heavy equipment onto the campus to allow for the installation to begin. No one is allowed on campus, not even staff. The District did not give us any advance notice of their plans. Because we are not guaranteed access on Monday the 18th, we decided to postpone both days of enrollment until later in the summer.
If you signed your student up for an on-campus physical for Saturday, June 19th, we will be holding those off campus at Meadowlark Community Church. A separate communication with has been sent to those students affected.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Boosters are in the process of choosing alternate dates later in the summer and confirming campus availability with the directors and the Administration. As soon as we have those dates secured, we will publish them and you can re-sign up.
