New competition from NIHR for ‘Applied Research Collaborations’

We are very pleased to announce that the NIHR have launched a call for Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) funding. This will be the new iteration of the current NIHR CLAHRC programme.

The funding and support is for applied health and care research and to support implementation of research into practice, making tangible improvements for patients, the public and to health and care services.

New Contract Awarded to the NIHR Research Design Service (RDS)

Our congratulations go to the NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) East of England, who have been awarded a further five years of funding to continue their work from September 2018.

The funding will enable RDS advisers in the East of England to continue offering free and confidential advice to health and social care professionals and service users who want to obtain funding for research.

Health Economics Consultancy (HEC) – opportunity for researchers

HEC (based at the University of East Anglia, Norwich) are looking for individuals to join their team over the next three to six months to work either part-time or full-time (with remote working a possibility).

They are looking for people who have experience in designing and conducting systematic literature reviews, with a health science background and a good eye for detail.
