Ukebox Brewery Tour @ Covered Bridge
This week we'll be at the Covered Bridge Brewing Co in Stittsville (Suite #6 119 Iber Road. Ottawa). This is a great little brewery on the edge of town in the west end. It has beer offerings such as the Lumbersexual Session IPA, Eternally Hoptimistic Pale Ale, and the Moustache Smash. Perhaps you've seen their products in the LCBO.
They've built a nice little tap room at the back with a screen on the wall and some really nice live edge tables. It's a slightly smaller room than we've been used to, but we'll squeeze a couple of extra chairs in there and have ourselves a grand old time.
On this Brewery Tour stop, we'll have access to dinner in the form of a great little food truck, right outside the door. Rollo's Street Eats will be there to serve us until 7pm so come on early to get dinner, sip some beer and pal around with fellow ukulele players.
Finally, as a third menu for your delectation this Wednesday evening, we have our song selection. On special that evening will be songs about Bridges, Roads and Streets. For Bridges, we'll have favorites such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Under The Bridge'. And of course, 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' will be available. For the main course, we'll offer you entrées such as 'Copperhead Road' or 'Hit the Road Jack'. And finally for dessert, some street fare such as 'On The Sunny Side Of The Street'. Ukebox Brewery Tour:
On hiatus for July & August
This is the 4th installment of our travelling brewery tour and the last stop until the fall. We'll continue to do the 1st Wednesday of the month jams throughout the summer at the Clocktower, our home pub. The 2nd Wednesday jams will be on hiatus until September.
