Happy Friday, all!

I'm surprised this Japanese music video/hydrating toner ad (I'm not… really sure what to call it) isn't a viral hit internationally already. Part of Hada Labo's "Love Yourself, Love Your Skin" campaign, it's a body-positive teen love story with the perfect dose of product placement that made me so, so happy this week. I already use this toner, but I'll take all of female star Yuriyan Retriever's dance moves, too. Watch it on YouTube.

Have you seen the recently de-classified NSA security/motivational posters from the Cold War era? They're surreal takes on pop culture and design from that time, and I'm tempted to print my favorites, cross off "security" and write in "content," and use them to decorate my home office. From Page 74: "Let Content Light Up Your Life." Page 77: "Content Indifference Causes Content Violations." It's too good. See all of them and the associated FOIA request on governmentattic.org.

Last week: Medieval artists attempt to draw elephants without having ever seen one, plus how to use emoji in a budget spreadsheet.

Doppio is a weekly missive from Katelyn Reilly, Steyer's Director of Operations and Content Strategist, containing two concentrated shots of content greatness. We’ll never use this note to sell you anything, including Steyer’s services. It’s purely about content people connecting with content, in a time when it’s incredibly easy to forget why we do what we do.
