Back From Manila, First Draft Prayers
June 2018 is actually here and it's amazing and a blessing that we've experienced half of the year. My next birthday will come this Thursday, June 14 and I'm looking forward to it! I made it safely back from Manila, The Philippines May 11 from my writing assignment for Cru Storylines. The experience was prolific and deeply impacted me. I will share more of my journey with you later this month. 
But today, I'd like to ask for your prayers. I'm working through the "sit down and write until you can't write anymore" process of hammering out my first draft of the 1,400-word feature story about Manila and Eloi, pictured above, the dentist my story centers on. Your prayers for me this morning would be a blessing.
I truly believe when I write it's part Melody and then it's this incredible fusion of creativity, wisdom, and intention God writes with me. That's the special experience I always love meeting when I get to create. Pray also for the thousands of people who will be exposed to this story in September 2018 when it's published and how God will use my words to help people see a little more of Him.
