This is such a fun class so if you love hand work and learning how to use different textiles and mediums, make sure you book into this one. Come along and learn to make this delightful "Book in a Box" with Val Waterhouse. She is an amazing tutor and you will learn a great deal and she is full of exciting ideas and creativity, so you can use her ideas in your embroidery work. You won't finish the Book in a Box in the one day class but you will get guidance of what to do next. Or if you wanted you could come to our next month class with Val on 20th July. Val teaches here at The Apple Basket every month and you can come along any month and work on your embroidery "works in progress".
Cost for each class is $50.00.

Fresh Cut Block of the Month by Sue Spargo

We are taking expressions of interest with this new block of the month by Sue Spargo called "Fresh Cut". The first month you will receive the first block, the border, binding and the book, the months after that you would get the fabric (wools and cottons). for each block. Atomic Starburst Quilt Kit by Violet Craft
Quilt Size:- 62" x 66"
This quilt is now ready to send out to anyone that fancies it. We are making ours at the moment and we are going to add Swarovski Crystals to it to give a lovely sparkle.
This quilt is made combining foundation paper pieced Starburst blocks with traditional piecing for a vibrant, mid-century modern quilt. Fabric used is Palm Canyon by Violet Craft for Robert Kaufman Fabrics.

Come along on a Monday morning or afternoon or both and bring whatever you are sewing and if you need help the very talented and patient Cherry Watson is here to help where ever you need it, if not just sit and sew with like minded people. Yummy morning/afternoon tea provided.
Cost per session is $15.00

English Paper Piecing Club

12 Days of Christmas kits.
Ornament of the Month

Book in now so you don't miss out!!

Each month you will make ornaments depicting the song "12 Days of Christmas" it will run each month for 12 months. (If you want to get the first 3 ornaments at once so you will be able to get them all finished in time for this Chirstmas just let us know) This is available as a kit for out of town customers - so you don't have to live close to enjoy this beautiful project. By the end of the year you will have enough ornaments to decorate your tree or give them away as gifts. Prices for each month will be $35.00 + postage. Made with 100% wool felt.

"Simply Spring" Block of the Month.
Join our latest block of the month. The little blocks are hand stitched using 100% wool felt and Kaffe Fassett fabrics on a variety of backgrounds. Using Eleganza and Ellana wool threads by Sue Spargo and 80wt Aurifil threads for the needleturn applique. This is a lovely project to sit down with as the blocks you will be working on are only 7" square - a nice size to handle on hot summer days.

Retro Caravan Cushion Kit
