WEEKLY WRANGLER

Support for the Oakes Family
Two Midway students and siblings, a preschooler and a kindergartener, were recently seriously injured in an UTV accident. We want to send them our love and support. Teacher Erika Knight is inviting students and their families to meet in the school library this Wed., June 13 from 12 to 1 p.m. to make cards for the Oakes family. She'll provide popsicles and supplies for the cards. Please stop by if you're around!

You can see updates on the girls on their Facebook page here. A GoFundMe page has also been set up to help with medical expenses.

PTA Library Work Day Tomorrow
We're making great progress cataloguing the 700+ new books that have arrived for the school library! The next step is putting plastic protective covers over the books to keep them in good shape. We'll meet tomorrow (Mon., June 11) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the library - kids are welcome to help as well! Thanks to the families who ordered books for our library - we're so excited for our students to enjoy them in the fall.

Kindergarten Assessments
Kindergarten assessments will take place Aug. 9 and 14. Please call the school to set up a time if you missed the signup in May.
