Red Squirrel in the Pretty River Valley
Red Squirrels can eat mushrooms that are deadly for humans, replace their fur completely twice a year, and can smell their nut hoards even under 4 metres of snow. For more interesting facts, see the Bruce Trail Conservancy's Red Squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus)–Excitable Rodent in the Trees.
