In Northeast Asia, people from Hong Kong SAR spend most of their time online visiting travel websites
In March 2018, people from Hong Kong SAR recorded the highest percentage of their web usage visiting travel websites compared to others in Northeast Asia. Although web usage percentage visiting travel websites in the destination was modestly lower compared to the same period last year, down from 61.2 percent, the monthly figures show a new high of 54.2 percent recorded since the beginning of the year. In addition, the March figures show Chinese Taipei in second place at 51 percent, followed closely by Japan with 47.4%. With regard to total time spent, China recorded 3.10 billion minutes of web usage visiting travel websites, exceeding all other destinations in the region.
