Municipal Innovation Spotlight:
York Region celebrated World Creativity & Innovation Week
For World Creativity and Innovation Week, York Region’s Corporate Continuous Improvement Team set up pop-up booths at three Regional buildings to highlight examples of Business Innovation at York Region and to provide information on how the program is strengthening the organizational capacity for continuous improvement and innovation.
The pop-up booths provided a fantastic opportunity to share the innovation happening all around us, in the Regional departments, and opportunity to learn from each other’s success.
At the three pop-up booths, Continuous Improvement team members received a number of questions about the program from staff who were looking to join our community of innovators, process improvement advocates and change-makers.
The Corporate Continuous Improvement program continues to provide training in the areas of innovation, facilitation and process improvement across the organization, each of which is supported by a Community of Practice. If you would like to learn more about York Region’s Corporate Continuous Improvement Program, please feel free to contact us at CorporateContinuousImprovement@york.ca
