PHK18 #15: THE GREAT WAL is an exhibition at PHK18 where 16 muralisten presented by MURALS Inc. applied their wallpainting on the walls of PHK18. I made three murals. The opening of the exhibition is on Sunday the 17th of June from 15.00 - 18.00 hrs. with an opening speech by Jasper van der Graaf and runs until Friday the 5th of October 2018.

maandag wasdag
Saturday the 26th of May opend in the Vischpoort of Museum Elburg Maandag Wasdag (Monday Laundry Day). My project Maandag Wasdag was previously seen in museum Schokland on the former island. I will present the project Maandag Wasdag on different historical places of the former Zuiderzee (Southern Sea) supplemented by new work in relation to the place where the work is presented. Also now, at the Vischpoort of Elburg, the only remaining gate that also served as a beacon for fishermen and freighters on the former Zuiderzee.
The exhibition Maandag Wasdag can be seen from May 26th until September 8. The Vischpoort has the following opening hours: 26 May - 7 July Saturday 11.00 - 17.00 hrs. | 7 July - 18 August Monday 13.00 - 17.00 hrs., Tuesday -Saturday from 11.00 - 17.00 hrs. | 18 August - 8 September Saturday 11.00 - 17.00 hrs. From July 7th until the 18th of August my installation ’t wasgoed will be exhibited in the monastery garden of the museum.

id11 project space
As a curator and organizer I am involved in artists initiative id11. In January 2018 id11 started to use the former stable of the farm as a project space. In the period January to June 2018 id11 invites every last week of the month one artist to use the project space to work on her or his project, with a presentation on the last Saturday and Sunday of the month. id11 offers the artist the opportunity to use the space for a week, to experiment and try things out. The former stable lends itself particularly well for installations and site-specific work.
The following artists have used the space to realise and present (new) work: Wies Noest (01) / Rosa Everts (02) / Egied Simons (03) / Lineke Hansma (04) / Marie-Claire Krell (05).
In June, the last artist in this series, Wouter Sibum, is invited to realize (new) work. Wouter is, after a short working period on the farm, presenting his work on Saturday the 23rd of June from 13.00-17.00 hrs. and Sunday the 24th of June from 13.00-16.00 hrs., with on Sunday followed by the Moo Sessions #18 // Out Of Skin, a (semi) acoustic performance..
Wouter is both days present to talk about his work. .
