Since 2016, the Lee & Beulah Moor Children's Home has celebrated the high school graduation of 16 children and we sat with pride watching each walk the stage and collect their diploma. However, when the lights and flashes of the pomp and circumstance dim, we were left with a bittersweet reality. The youth had earned their diplomas but experience and wisdom was reminding us that at the age of 18, most teens are not ready to navigate the world on their own.
