The OGP Gazette is a monthly update of technical information provided by the OGP Support Unit and IRM. It is intended to help OGP stakeholders stay up to date on official decisions and the technical aspects of National Action Plans and reporting.

Participant calendars: What are you working on right now?
OGP countries and OGP Local participants are organized in two large groups according to the year - even or odd - in which they present their two-year Action Plan (AP). This division is important because it determines when countries and OGP Local participants are due to co-create Action Plan and Self-Assessment reports, and when they will receive their IRM reports. The list of participants in each of the groups varies, as new entities join and others experience delays. For 2018, the list is as follows:

The IRM Data Dashboard is a reference for frequently asked questions about general IRM data, such as the number of OGP action plans, total number of commitments, or number and percentage of starred commitments. The dashboard reflects data provided in the IRM-Support Unit Commitments Database and is updated as the database is updated.
Data on progress reports for 2016-2018 action plans
Data on end of term reports for 2015-2017 action plans
This data can be found in the “non-IRM assessed commitments” tab of the database. While these action plans have been tagged for OGP Thematic Tags, their inclusion will not change IRM assessed variables (i.e. specificity, OGP value relevance, potential impact, completion, starred commitments).

The agenda for the Global Summit was co-created with the community through an open call for proposals, which were then evaluated by an editorial committee. The editorial committee consisted of representatives from the OGP Support Unit, the Government of Georgia, civil society organizations, and international partners. We received over five hundred proposals in less than a month covering the three main tracks - anti-corruption, civic engagement, public service delivery, and an open track showcasing other cross-cutting and emerging issues. A more detailed agenda with assigned times and rooms will be released in mid-June. Further details about the editorial process and next steps are available here.
This summit agenda anchors a week of other key moments - a civil society day (co-hosted by civil society colleagues based in Georgia), an OGP government points of contact day, a parliament day (co-hosted by the Parliament of Georgia), a workshop for OGP Local Pioneers, and several side events hosted by our partners. The OGP Summit goes well beyond just this day and half of sessions- it is a week-long celebration of and critical reflection on open government
We look forward to seeing you in Tbilisi - and watch this space for more information!

2017 was a year of unprecedented global challenges—but also a year that underscored the need for organizations like OGP to step forward and address these challenges and realize its imperative to serve as a positive global movement for deepening democracy and openness. Take a look at our Year in Review 2017 report to learn more, available here.
Co-creation is at the heart of Open Government Partnership. By bringing citizens into the design, implementation and monitoring of decision-making and public policies, our Partnership has provided a lot of learnings on how to create opportunities for dialogue and participation since 2011. OGP's Participation and Co-creation Toolkit captures a multitude of these good practices and presents them to encourage further adoption and innovation and help government reformers and civil society partners alike in improving the quality and output of co-creation processes across OGP.
Civic space is important, not only for professional civil society organizations to function, but as a critical space for dialogue, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration to work on the most pressing challenges in a country. During Open Gov Week 2018, OGP launched a new civic space series, anchored by the OGP paper The Right Tools for the Right Job: How OGP can help win the fight for civic space., laying out some key touch points related to OGP and civic space.
