The Swiss Radio RTS via "On en Parle" presented in a dynamic co-moderated interview the job sharing model and its impact in presence of the association PTO through several interesting testimonials from job and top sharers to HR specialists.

Job Sharing Meet-up in Geneva - Great Success!

With almost 70 people taking part in the Geneva meet-up organized by the Association PTO, we are happy to report another successful event. Not only are we satisfied with the participation count but also by the deep attendee involvement which that makes us proud of promoting job sharing.

Job sharing is much more than part-time work, it also empowers like-minded people, both women and men who strive to collaborate and understand the necessity for a more equitable workplace. Diversity & Inclusion in the workplace: Best practices!

A must to attend this week : The University of Geneva "Service égalité de l’Université de Genève (UNIGE)" organizes an event about diversity in the workplace in partnership with the "Bureau de la promotion de l'égalité entre femmes et hommes et de prévention des violences domestiques (BPEV)" and the "Fédération des Entreprises Romandes (FER-Genève)".

When it comes to diversity and equality, what are the best practices initiated by companies? What are the underlying issues for companies and employees? Human resources specialists and diversity experts will discuss their best practices. The Association PTO will also be on the expert panel.

#65 No Peanuts!

Brand new: the independent initiative #65 No Peanuts! aims for the implementation of global and coherent equality policies before augmenting the legal retirement age. The campaign explores 65 actions in 6 fields: AVS and LPP, equal sharing of housework and parental education, unbiased and equal access to labor market, education and stereotypes, violence and health prevention as well as funding.

If you believe that equality and diversity should be the norm, participate in the campaign on social media, sign the support list, and/or join the association on this page.

DOIT-SMART: Diversity at Work!

Diversity is a key element in the corporate world. Everyone knows it and wishes for it, but it still does not happen on a larger scale. So, why is that?

Often, companies just don't know where to get started. As a matter of fact, nowadays corporations are complex entities, which makes it very hard to identify the specific issues that need to be addressed in order to get diversity done.

DOIT-SMART is an initiative that aims to help companies identify their needs and assist them through the whole process of integrating diversity into their culture. There are many companies and associations working in various sectors making Switzerland's workplaces more attractive, but their cohesion and connection amongst them is not yet a force.
