We have a Partner Birth Preparation Workshop coming up, some useful Winter Wellness Tips and Products for the Winter months ahead.
Welcome to Ayurveda's Winter Newsletter. As we move into the cooler days of Winter we need to adapt to our changing environment, aligning ourselves with the rhythms of nature and embracing a seasonal routine.

Winter Wellness Tips

  • This is the time to favour warm, nourishing foods and for also using warming, stimulating spices like ginger, cardamom, cumin & turmeric to stoke up your digestion.
  • Adding a dollop of ghee to your cooking is also beneficial as it oleates and helps combat the cold, dry qualities of winter.
  • Avoid cold, heavy foods like yoghurt, cheese, ice-cream, cold milk and chilled drinks!
  • Drink cups of hot water (boiled) and ginger tea to keep up you fluid intake when cold water is less appealing over the cooler months. This will also warm up your body and improve circulation.
  • Invigorate your body with regular exercise to boost energy levels, improve circulation and promote feelings of wellbeing.
