School's Out for Summer

The long awaited (and sometimes dreaded) summer season is upon us. Vacations, longer days, & humidity help us mark the passage of time. Summer offers many of us the opportunity to relax, travel, & knock items off our bucket lists. Sadly, we know that too many of our brothers and sisters don't have this opportunity. From struggling to find child care to lacking access to school lunches, summer is oftentimes a burden to our brothers and sisters on the margins.

As we are all united in the Body of Christ, how we can make life easier for our brothers & sisters who suffer during the summer season? Will we commit to checking in on the well being of our elderly neighbors? Will we do what we can to help struggling parents who can't afford child care? Will we commit to helping those who lack meaningful employment find the dignity of work?

Please consider joining members of St. Matthew's Cathedral parish at these upcoming service opportunities.
